Mothers First

SOBER SUPPORTIVE HOUSING LINKED WITH SOCIAL SERVICES

More Doors provides affordable housing linked with Mothers First' social services to improve women's health and quality of life. 

Mothers First provides support to families for sober pregnancies and assists women struggling with substance use. They focus on meeting participants where they are and supporting them as they define their own success. 

Women We Serve

  • Those living in Ramsey County​​​

  • Are pregnant and/or parenting a child under the age of 1​

  • Motivated to begin a treatment program, currently in a program or have recently successfully completed a program and maintaining sobriety​

  • Enrolled in the Mothers First Program

Housing Services Provided

  • More Doors provides transitional housing services for those enrolled in the Mothers First Program of Ramsey County​

  • Assigns an advocate that works with the participant and their Mothers First advocate​

  • Reasonable efforts are made to provide housing in a universally accessible, multi-cultural and/or multi-lingual manner to persons of diverse populations provisions
